Bride & Groom  Families  Wedding Party  Rings and things...

Our wedding was *beyond words* -- spectacular in every way that we could have dreamed. We even had 55° and sunny weather up in Buffalo, NY... in February!! Can you believe that?!

You know - you can talk and talk and talk about it, but when you are there and floating around in the white dress, there are just no words that can describe how amazing it really is.

The day exceeded every possible expectation I had. Jay was stunning. Everybody showed. Everything was 200% perfect and beautiful and I seriously just spent the entire day in my delirious happy princess fog. I loved being a bride!! :)

I was calm throughout the entire ceremony, and the ceremony went completely smoothly -- except that I had to help Jay get my ring on -- I think he was afraid he'd hurt my finger if he pushed too hard. I said out loud, "Don't be afraid," and everybody laughed. It was funny. :-)

My dad was also so cute -- when he handed me away to Jay, he put his arms around us, like a team huddle, and whispered to us, "Are you ready? Now go up there, pay attention, and make sure you listen to every word so you don't forget it." Everybody was dying to know what he said to us and it was just so sweet. It will look very cute in the video.

I spent time with every guest at the reception and people told me they had never seen a more beaming, happy, & radiant bride. Hee hee... I really was SO happy though. I couldn't cry. I was just so happy!

And the food was AMAZING!!

I got so many compliments on the originiality of the wedding -- everything from the indoor gazebo we were married in, to the flower pot we made everybody sign, to my 3' long calla lily bouquet, to Jay's all-white tux, to our 1st dance to Ella Fitzgerald's "Misty," to our cherry chip wedding cake!

And can you believe my dad bought me a diamond necklace to wear!!

Also, my new ring is positively gorgeous, with my great-grandmother's diamond. It's the most beautiful and meaningful thing I have ever owned in my entire life.

After the night was over last night (and after I spent an hour in the jacuzzi in our suite -- forget about bathtubs!!) I just laid there on the bed and cried because I was so happy and that everything just went so perfectly and exceeded every possible expectation I had!!!
