Grape Nuts® Peanut Butter Bars

Yields: 32 bars | 2.5 points per bar

My rating:

These little bars are delicious, and extremely easy to throw together. Be careful though... Don't just make these for yourself or you will eat too many of them. Take them to a family picnic or work party. Enjoy!

Difficulty Level: Extremely Easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup reduced fat or regular peanut butter (points end up the same either way)
  • 4 cups POST GRAPE-NUTS® Cereal

Directions:

MICROWAVE corn syrup, sugar and peanut butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or just until mixture boils, stirring after each minute.

ADD cereal; stir to coat well.

PRESS firmly into foil-lined 13x9-inch pan sprayed lightly with cooking spray. Cool. Cut into 32 bars. Wrap bars individually with plastic wrap. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature. (I did not wrap the bars individually. I just put wax paper inbetween each layer in the storage container)

Yields: 32 bars (2.5 points per bar)
